What’s the difference between soybeans and soybeans?

There may be a truth about hairy peas and soybeans that many people don’t know: they are simply the same plant. Soybeans and soybeans are both soybeans, just picked at different times.
According to Zang Guocheng, an expert from the Nanjing Agricultural Commission, “Soybean and soybean are actually the same plant. Hairy beans are its most tender period, the beans also have the most water, the pods have fluff, mainly as vegetables to eat. As the bean matures, water is lost, the pods become dry and brittle, and the beans inside become soybeans, which can be sprouted and ground into soy milk.” Zang Guocheng also explained that, due to different varieties, not all soybeans are yellow after maturity, there may be green, such beans is what we call “big green beans”, but it is actually a kind of soybeans, can also be used to make tofu, only the taste is not as good as the small soybeans we usually eat.
To summarize: the soybean is a child soybean, soybean is fresh with pods of soybeans, and soybean is to go to the pods after drying soybeans. They are literally “I became you when I grew up”.
In terms of nutritional value, soybeans are far superior to snap peas. In addition to sodium, vitamin C, retinol equivalent, soybean content is lower than soybeans, most of the other nutrients soybean content can reach almost three times the content of soybeans.

But usually we eat soybean directly less opportunity, it has become our table of tofu, dried tofu, soy milk and other soy products.
From soybeans to soy products is equivalent to a different degree of “dilution”, so those who want to eat it, you do not have to worry too much about calories. They are also a good source of protein and calcium in our daily lives. The Dietary Guidelines recommend eating 4 to 7 servings of soybeans per week (about 105 to 175 grams of soybeans).
Soybeans are more commonly eaten as a vegetable and are better suited for those who want to control their energy as they contain vitamin C and are a bit lower in calories compared to soybeans.
