1-Chloroethyl chloroformate Usage
1. Organic synthesis. It is a highly efficient and mild debenzylation-protecting group reagent, especially for compounds containing an easily reducible functional group. The use of this reagent does not affect other functional groups in the molecule.
2. Also applied to the removal of the alkyl group on the tertiary amine, the resulting carbamate is heated in methanol to remove the esterate group to obtain a high yield of secondary amine.
3. For the synthesis of medicine, it is used for cefpodoxime, candesartan, cefotiam, bamcillin, ampoxicam, and the like.
