Study on the Chemical Composition of Yindi Cuique Flower
Delphinium is a perennial or biennial herbaceous plant in the Ranunculaceae family. There are approximately 300 species worldwide, widely distributed in the northern hemisphere, with nearly 220 species in China. In China, various plants of the genus Quercus have a long history of medicinal use and can be used to treat diseases such as falls, rheumatism, toothache, and enteritis. Diterpenoid alkaloids are a class of structurally complex natural products widely present in plants of the genus Quercus. The basic skeleton is mainly composed of C18-, C19-, and C20 diterpenoid alkaloids; Modern pharmacological studies have shown that diterpenoid alkaloids have pharmacological activities such as anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-tumor, and antiarrhythmic effects. Studies have shown that the C19 diterpenoid alkaloid forrestline F of aconitine type and the C20 diterpenoid alkaloid songorine of atesin type have certain anti-inflammatory activities; The C19 diterpenoid alkaloids delbrunine and delpheline, as well as the C20 diterpenoid alkaloid delphatisine C, have certain anti-tumor activities. Delphinium umbrosum Hand. – Mazz. is a plant of the Ranunculaceae family, native to the northwest of Yunnan (from Zhongdian to Deqin), and grows on mountain slopes or under forests at an altitude of 3500-3900 meters. At present, there are no reports on the chemical composition and biological activity of Yindi Cuique flower. Therefore, in order to supplement the research gap of Yindi Cuiquehua and provide theoretical guidance for its development and utilization. In this paper, the alkaloid components of Delphinium insignis were systematically studied, and the inhibitory effects of some compounds on lipopolysaccharide induced NO production by RAW 264.7 macrophages in mice were tested, as well as the anti-tumor activities of all compounds on 4T1 cells of breast cancer in mice.

This study investigated the alkaloid components of the entire plant of Yindi Cuiquehua, and isolated a total of 14 alkaloids, including 13 bovine alkaloid C19-diterpenoid alkaloids and 1 isoquinoline alkaloid. Compounds 1-14 were all isolated from this plant for the first time. This study fills the research gap of Yindi Cuiquehua, providing a reference for its plant chemical classification and a material basis for the subsequent search for active alkaloid components. The anti-inflammatory effect of the compounds on RAW 264.7 macrophages in mice and the anti-tumor effect on 4T1 cells of breast cancer in mice were tested. The results showed that all the tested compounds had no obvious anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor activities.
