Ericaceae familyas\u0131na ve Vaccinium cinsine aittirler. \u00c7in'in kuzeydo\u011fusundaki Changbai Da\u011f\u0131, Daxing'an Da\u011flar\u0131 ve Xiaoxing'an Da\u011flar\u0131 ormanlar\u0131nda bol miktarda yabani yaban mersini bulunmaktad\u0131r. Yaban mersini, \u015fekerler, terpenler, amino asitler ve y\u00fcksek besin de\u011feri ve sa\u011fl\u0131k yararlar\u0131 olan \u00e7ok miktarda polifenol gibi bile\u015fikler a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan zengindir.
