1. Treatment of Cushing’s disease: Because the formation of thalamic-pituitary Cushing’s syndrome is related to central 5-HT neurons. Therefore, some people have tried to treat brain-pituitary Cushing’s syndrome with ketanserin. Subjects were given a dose of 40-80 mg/d of ketanserin to monitor urinary cortisol and adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH). Therefore, it is believed that the treatment of Cushing’s syndrome with ketochrome may have a certain effect, but the duration of efficacy and the number of patients with significant effect are limited. However, this experiment provides a new idea for the exploration and treatment of the pathological mechanism of thalamic-pituitary Cushing syndrome.
