Le 9 septembre 2008, le minist\u00e8re de la sant\u00e9 a approuv\u00e9 l'alcool de sucre isomalt-c\u00e9tone en tant que nouvelle ressource alimentaire conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la loi sur l'hygi\u00e8ne alimentaire de la R\u00e9publique populaire de Chine et aux mesures relatives \u00e0 l'administration des nouvelles ressources alimentaires.

Historique du d\u00e9veloppement<\/strong><\/p>\n

L'alcool de sucre c\u00e9tonique isomalt, \u00e9galement connu sous le nom international d'alcool de sucre Paragin ou de sucre d'Epsom, est le sucre c\u00e9tonique isomalt obtenu par hydrog\u00e9nation et purification des seuls alcools de sucre fonctionnels binaires d\u00e9riv\u00e9s du saccharose.<\/p>\n

En 1957, des scientifiques allemands ont extrait l'isomaltulose de la canne \u00e0 sucre, jetant ainsi les bases techniques ;<\/p>\n

Dans les ann\u00e9es 1980, l'Allemagne et les \u00c9tats-Unis ont successivement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 l'alcool de sucre isomalt-c\u00e9tone et sont parvenus \u00e0 une production de masse ;<\/p>\n

\u00c0 la fin du XXe si\u00e8cle, l'Europe et les \u00c9tats-Unis, le Japon et la Cor\u00e9e du Sud, ainsi que d'autres pays et r\u00e9gions, ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 l'utiliser en grandes quantit\u00e9s dans le domaine de l'alimentation et des m\u00e9dicaments ;<\/p>\n

En 2008, la Chine a approuv\u00e9 l'isomaltitol en tant que nouvelle ressource alimentaire.<\/p>\n
