F) Nees est une plante de la famille des Menispermaceae, qui appartient aux m\u00e9ridiens du c\u0153ur, des poumons, du gros intestin et de la vessie. Elle a un go\u00fbt amer et une nature froide. Elle a pour effet de d\u00e9gager la chaleur et de d\u00e9sintoxiquer, de refroidir le sang et d'\u00e9liminer les escarres. L'andrographolide (formule mol\u00e9culaire C20H30O5, structure illustr\u00e9e \u00e0 la figure 1) est un cristal blanc de forme carr\u00e9e et le principal extrait de la plante m\u00e9dicinale Andrographis paniculata. Les recherches ont montr\u00e9 que la lactone de Chuanxinlian poss\u00e8de un large \u00e9ventail d'activit\u00e9s biologiques, telles que la lutte contre les infections, l'h\u00e9patoprotection et la chol\u00e9r\u00e9tique, la lutte contre le cancer, l'anti-inflammation, l'antibact\u00e9rien, l'antipaludisme, l'immunomodulation, la lutte contre les maladies cardiovasculaires et c\u00e9r\u00e9brovasculaires, l'antiviral, etc. Il est largement utilis\u00e9 dans la pratique clinique et a des effets significatifs. Selon la litt\u00e9rature, l'\u00e9quipe de Boorsma a isol\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois un cristal incolore de Houttuynia cordata, dont la structure a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9e par l'\u00e9quipe de Gorter comme \u00e9tant un compos\u00e9 lactone et nomm\u00e9 andrographolide.
