Parmi eux, les plantes sont la principale source de compos\u00e9s organiques volatils biog\u00e8nes (COVB) dans l'atmosph\u00e8re, qui sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement synth\u00e9tis\u00e9s par les voies m\u00e9taboliques secondaires des plantes.
