La s\u00e9rotonine appartient \u00e0 la classe des alcalo\u00efdes indole quinazoline et est l'un des principaux composants de la m\u00e9decine chinoise traditionnelle antivirale Radix Isatidis et de la m\u00e9decine chinoise antipyr\u00e9tique Indigo Naturae, ainsi que de plantes m\u00e9dicinales telles que l'indigo, le pastel et le polygonum. Il peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre d\u00e9tect\u00e9 dans les m\u00e9tabolites de certains micro-organismes. Des \u00e9tudes pharmacologiques modernes ont montr\u00e9 que la s\u00e9rotonine poss\u00e8de diverses activit\u00e9s pharmacologiques telles que la protection antitumorale, antibact\u00e9rienne, anti-inflammatoire, antivirale et cardiovasculaire. La s\u00e9rotonine a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 sa grande valeur m\u00e9dicinale dans le traitement des tumeurs, des infections bact\u00e9riennes, des l\u00e9sions inflammatoires, des invasions virales et d'autres domaines, ce qui en a fait un centre d'int\u00e9r\u00eat pour de nombreux chercheurs. Les tests de cytotoxicit\u00e9 et de toxicit\u00e9 chez la souris ont confirm\u00e9 son innocuit\u00e9. Cette revue passe syst\u00e9matiquement en revue la litt\u00e9rature pertinente sur la s\u00e9rotonine et analyse de mani\u00e8re exhaustive les progr\u00e8s de la recherche sur les sources, les effets pharmacologiques, les caract\u00e9ristiques pharmacocin\u00e9tiques, la toxicit\u00e9 et d'autres aspects de la s\u00e9rotonine. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9 que la s\u00e9rotonine est un produit post-matur\u00e9 et que son processus de synth\u00e8se est non enzymatique. La s\u00e9rotonine est \u00e9galement un m\u00e9tabolite secondaire de certains micro-organismes tels que Candida lipolytica, Schizophyllum et Streptomyces marin. Cependant, la teneur en s\u00e9rotonine c\u00e9tone dans la nature est tr\u00e8s faible, et il existe des probl\u00e8mes tels que des processus d'extraction fastidieux, des processus de s\u00e9paration qui prennent du temps et des taux d'extraction faibles. C'est pourquoi la synth\u00e8se chimique de la s\u00e9rotonine est actuellement un sujet de recherche br\u00fblant, et l'indigo carmin et le glycoside acide d'indigo carmin sont des mat\u00e9riaux synth\u00e9tiques couramment utilis\u00e9s. Par rapport \u00e0 l'extraction directe de la s\u00e9rotonine des plantes, la synth\u00e8se artificielle a augment\u00e9 le rendement de la s\u00e9rotonine, mais la voie de synth\u00e8se est plus compliqu\u00e9e et les conditions de r\u00e9action sont plus exigeantes, ce qui ne convient qu'\u00e0 une synth\u00e8se \u00e0 petite \u00e9chelle en laboratoire. Si l'on souhaite une production \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle, il est n\u00e9cessaire d'explorer des m\u00e9thodes et des processus de synth\u00e8se artificielle plus simples et moins co\u00fbteux. La synth\u00e8se biomim\u00e9tique de la c\u00e9tone s\u00e9rotonine peut constituer une future direction de recherche.<\/p>\n<p>De nombreuses exp\u00e9riences pharmacologiques ont montr\u00e9 que la s\u00e9rotonine poss\u00e8de de bonnes activit\u00e9s biologiques, notamment anti-inflammatoires, antibact\u00e9riennes, antitumorales et antivirales, et qu'elle pr\u00e9sente une faible toxicit\u00e9 et de faibles effets secondaires. Les effets pharmacologiques de la s\u00e9rotonine et sa facilit\u00e9 d'absorption dans l'intestin lui conf\u00e8rent de vastes perspectives d'application dans la pr\u00e9vention et le traitement des maladies. Toutefois, les rapports actuels sur la c\u00e9tone s\u00e9rotoninergique se limitent \u00e0 des exp\u00e9riences in vitro ou sur des animaux, ce qui pr\u00e9sente des limites. \u00c0 l'avenir, des donn\u00e9es suffisantes issues d'essais cliniques seront n\u00e9cessaires pour \u00e9tayer solidement cette th\u00e8se.
