Il s'agit d'une plante m\u00e9dicinale unique en Chine, principalement distribu\u00e9e au Zhejiang, au Guangxi, au Hubei, au Hunan, au Sichuan, au Guizhou et dans d'autres r\u00e9gions. Cette plante m\u00e9dicinale a \u00e9t\u00e9 mentionn\u00e9e pour la premi\u00e8re fois dans le \"Shennong Bencao Jing\". Elle a un caract\u00e8re frais, un go\u00fbt amer et une faible toxicit\u00e9. Elle a pour effet d'\u00e9liminer la chaleur et de d\u00e9sintoxiquer, de r\u00e9soudre les mucosit\u00e9s et les nodules, et de soulager la douleur et le gonflement. En clinique, elle est souvent utilis\u00e9e pour traiter les blessures traumatiques, l'h\u00e9mipl\u00e9gie, l'arthralgie, les morsures de serpent, les douleurs, les gonflements, le condylome acumin\u00e9, la fi\u00e8vre h\u00e9morragique \u00e9pid\u00e9mique, le cancer du sein, le cancer de l'\u0153sophage, l'enc\u00e9phalite japonaise, la lymphad\u00e9nite, les oreillons et d'autres maladies inflammatoires. Deux nouveaux isom\u00e8res de flavono\u00efdes et un compos\u00e9 flavono\u00efde ont \u00e9t\u00e9 isol\u00e9s et identifi\u00e9s, \u00e0 savoir (+) - flavono\u00efdes H (1a), (-) - flavono\u00efdes H (1b), (+) - flavono\u00efdes I (2a), (-) - flavono\u00efdes I (2b), et podoverine F (3). L'activit\u00e9 antioxydante des compos\u00e9s 1, 1a, 1b, 2, 2a et 2b a \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9e \u00e0 l'aide d'un essai de pi\u00e9geage des radicaux DPPH. Les r\u00e9sultats ont montr\u00e9 que les compos\u00e9s 2, 2a et 2b avaient une forte capacit\u00e9 de pi\u00e9geage des radicaux DPPH et qu'ils \u00e9taient plus puissants que le m\u00e9dicament positif trolox. Des \u00e9tudes sur les relations structure-activit\u00e9 ont montr\u00e9 que le groupe ortho dihydroxy sur l'anneau B est un groupe structurel essentiel pour que les flavono\u00efdes pr\u00e9sentent une activit\u00e9 de pi\u00e9geage des radicaux DPPH.
