For example, a 2009 study by Warin and colleagues<\/a> evaluated BITC in a mouse model of mammary carcinogenesis. a 2011 study by Kim and colleagues<\/a> examined tumor growth and metastasis in mice implanted with murine mammary carcinoma cells.<\/p>\n

Those experiments support further investigation in the models studied. They do not establish that taking BITC prevents or treats cancer in people, and they do not establish a safe human dose.
