Se encuentran en varias plantas dicotiled\u00f3neas como Scrophularia y Rehmannia, Gentiana en Gentianaceae, Gardenia y Scutellaria en Rubiaceae, y Lonicera japonica en Lonicera japonica. El objetivo es predecir la actividad de otros terpenos de \u00e9ter de ciclohexeno con actividad desconocida y proporcionar una base te\u00f3rica para el desarrollo de nuevos f\u00e1rmacos de terpeno de \u00e9ter de ciclohexeno con mayor actividad.<\/p>\n<p>Como monoterpenos, los terpenos de \u00e9ter de ciclohexeno tienen varias actividades farmacol\u00f3gicas importantes, relaciones estructura-actividad complejas, reservas abundantes en la naturaleza y procesos de extracci\u00f3n sencillos. Pueden obtenerse mediante s\u00edntesis qu\u00edmica.
