Por ello, urge desarrollar nuevos tipos de f\u00e1rmacos antibacterianos.<br \/>\nLos productos naturales siguen consider\u00e1ndose un tesoro de recursos para el descubrimiento de nuevos f\u00e1rmacos. Seg\u00fan la Administraci\u00f3n de Alimentos y Medicamentos de Estados Unidos (FDA), m\u00e1s de la mitad de los f\u00e1rmacos cl\u00ednicos proceden de productos naturales o sus derivados sint\u00e9ticos, y aproximadamente 200 antibi\u00f3ticos naturales de origen microbiano se utilizan directamente como medicamentos.<br \/>\nEl baiji, tambi\u00e9n conocido como orqu\u00eddea jacinto, baiji jacinto o Ulan, tiene sus tub\u00e9rculos utilizados a menudo como partes medicinales. Su sabor es dulce, amargo y astringente, con una naturaleza ligeramente fr\u00eda. Tiene efectos de astringencia, hemostasia, reducci\u00f3n de la hinchaz\u00f3n y regeneraci\u00f3n muscular.
