T. Wang, y representa aproximadamente 30% del peso seco de sus brotes tiernos. Tiene efectos antioxidantes, antiinflamatorios, antivirales, anticancer\u00edgenos, antibacterianos, antifatiga, ansiol\u00edticos, hipogluc\u00e9micos, hepatoprotectores, cardioprotectores, de alivio de la enfermedad de Alzheimer y de alivio del asma.<br \/>\nEl DHM tiene buena seguridad, y se realizaron pruebas de toxicidad oral aguda, pruebas de toxicidad a largo plazo y pruebas de genotoxicidad en ratas y ratones, todas las cuales fueron negativas.
