Det er en af de mest almindelige ondartede tumorer blandt kvinder. Migrationen af individuelle eller kollektive tumorceller er et vigtigt skridt i denne komplekse proces, der involverer remodellering af ekstracellul\u00e6r matrix (ECM) og dynamisk rekombination med tilst\u00f8dende celler og basale bindev\u00e6vsceller, signalproteiner og stilladskomponenter relateret til cytoskelettet for at koordinere cellernes vedh\u00e6ftning til ECM. I denne unders\u00f8gelse blev det observeret, at baicalein har en h\u00e6mmende effekt p\u00e5 migrationen af MDA-MB-231-celler. I lighed med de eksperimentelle resultater af denne unders\u00f8gelse er der rapporter om, at baicalein kan h\u00e6mme spredningen og migrationen af MDA-MB-231-celler ved at undertrykke udtrykket af MMP-9-protein.<\/p>\n<p>Proteiner i RhoA-familien spiller en regulerende rolle i cellemigration og -bev\u00e6gelse. RhoA er et af de sm\u00e5 molekylv\u00e6gts G-proteinmedlemmer i Ras-superfamilien, der hovedsageligt er involveret i regulering af tumorcelleinvasion og metastase ved at p\u00e5virke cytoskelettet. Rac1 er medlem af Rho-familiens Rac-underfamilie, som kan regulere cellev\u00e6kst og reorganisering af cytoskelettet. Det er en multifunktionel regulator af mange cellul\u00e6re processer, herunder cellecyklus, intercellul\u00e6r adh\u00e6sion og regulering af cellemotilitet gennem aktinnetv\u00e6rket. Rho-relateret proteinkinase (ROCK) er en kinase, der tilh\u00f8rer AGC (PKA\/PKG\/PKC)-serin-treonin-kinasefamilien. Det er et downstream-m\u00e5leffektormolekyle for RhoA og deltager hovedsageligt i reguleringen af celleform og bev\u00e6gelse ved at virke p\u00e5 cytoskelettet.
