De har tiltrukket sig stor opm\u00e6rksomhed p\u00e5 grund af deres antidepressive, antiinflammatoriske, antiallergiske, antidiabetiske, anti-aging, anti-cancer og andre medicinske funktioner. Flavonoidernes struktur er t\u00e6t forbundet med deres biologiske funktioner.
