If\u00f8lge den globale salgsstatistik for pesticider fra 2014 har pesticider baseret p\u00e5 naturprodukter st\u00e5et for ca. 21% af det samlede salg i l\u00f8bet af de sidste 60 \u00e5r. Hvis pesticider udviklet p\u00e5 basis af naturprodukter medregnes, vil denne andel n\u00e5 op p\u00e5 53%, og nogle forskere mener, at denne andel endda kan n\u00e5 op p\u00e5 70%.<br \/>\nProteiner er h\u00f8je polymerer sammensat af aminosyrer med forskellige fysiologiske aktiviteter, der spiller en vigtig rolle i livets aktiviteter. De 22 basale aminosyrer, der udg\u00f8r proteiner, herunder selenocystein og pyrrolisk lysin, kaldes proteinaminosyrer. Ikke-proteinaminosyrer henviser til forbindelser, der indeholder andre amino- og carboxylgrupper end proteinaminosyrer. Der findes tusindvis af ikke-proteinaminosyrer i naturen, hvoraf mere end 250 kommer fra planter og andre fra mikroorganismer, alger og dyr. Denne artikel opsummerer hovedsageligt de aminosyrer fra naturlige kilder med pesticidaktivitet, der er rapporteret i litteraturen i de sidste 30 \u00e5r, herunder strukturelle typer, kilder, pesticidaktivitet og nogle virkningsmekanismer, i h\u00e5b om at give reference til forskning og udvikling af nye pesticider.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00e5 grund af folks opm\u00e6rksomhed p\u00e5 milj\u00f8- og f\u00f8devaresikkerhedsproblemer f\u00e5r udviklingen af effektive, sikre og milj\u00f8venlige nye sorter af pesticider i \u00f8jeblikket stigende opm\u00e6rksomhed. Mange naturligt forekommende aminosyrer har st\u00e6rke bek\u00e6mpelseseffekter p\u00e5 ukrudt, skadelige svampe, bakterier og skadedyr. Nogle er blevet udviklet til kommercielle landbrugsprodukter, som f.eks. glyphosat, der er udviklet gennem kemisk syntese baseret p\u00e5 L-phosphomycin (10) og er et af de mest succesfulde herbicider, der er udviklet i de senere \u00e5r med mikrobielle naturprodukter som ledetr\u00e5d. Coronamycin (33) produceret af Pseudomonas syringae har fysiologiske funktioner som regulering af plantev\u00e6kst, for\u00f8gelse af klorofylindholdet og forbedring af planters stressresistens ved lave koncentrationer. China Agricultural University og andre institutioner har med succes udviklet det som en plantev\u00e6kstregulator. Der er ogs\u00e5 nogle naturlige aminosyrer med gode anvendelsesmuligheder i landbrugsproduktionen, s\u00e5som naturlige proteinaminosyrer methionin (1), lysin (2), tryptofan (3), leucin (4) og tyrosin (5), som har feedback-h\u00e6mning gennem metaboliske veje for at producere ukrudtsbek\u00e6mpelseseffekter. De kan bruges til biologisk bek\u00e6mpelse af parasitisk ukrudt som Leymus chinensis og egyptisk gyldenris. Nogle ikke-proteinaminosyrer produceret af planter kan fungere som allelopatiske stoffer til at h\u00e6mme deres omgivende konkurrenter, s\u00e5som acacetin (6), \u03b4-hydroxyleucin (11), L-coumarin (14), L-DOPA (20), \u03b2-(3-isoxazolin-5-on-2-yl)-alanin (24), og mimosa (26) produceret af b\u00e6lgplanter, som alle er aminosyre-allelopatiske stoffer, der selektivt kan h\u00e6mme v\u00e6ksten af andre planter med lille indvirkning p\u00e5 b\u00e6lgplanter og gr\u00e6splanter.
