Desuden kunne farmakop\u00e9ens rodalkaloider reducere niveauet af galdesyrer i blodet betydeligt og \u00f8ge udskillelsen af galdesyrer (TBA) i f\u00e6ces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saponiner<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Saponiner findes i stor udstr\u00e6kning i planter og ogs\u00e5 i sm\u00e5 m\u00e6ngder i marine organismer som s\u00f8stjerner og s\u00f8p\u00f8lser, og de er vigtige i forebyggelse og behandling af hjerte-kar-sygdomme og til at s\u00e6nke blodlipiderne.<\/p>\n<p>Afrikansk auberginesaponin, araliasaponin og andre saponinkomponenter har betydelige hypolipid\u00e6miske og anti-lipidperoxiderende virkninger.<\/p>\n<p>Saponiner kan h\u00e6mme kolesterolsyntesen i leveren og \u00f8ge udstr\u00f8mningen af kolesterol i plasma for at s\u00e6nke kolesterolniveauet i plasma og kan ogs\u00e5 regulere lipidmetabolisme-relaterede enzymer og forbedre lipidernes antioxidantkapacitet for at spille en lipids\u00e6nkende rolle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andre<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He Shan et al. fandt, at et stort antal mineraler og sporstoffer i dybhavsvand har den effekt, at de s\u00e6nker blodlipiderne, hovedsageligt gennem aktivering af AMP-aktiveret proteinkinase for at reducere lipidindholdet i hepatocytter og dermed h\u00e6mme syntesen af kolesterol og fedtsyrer. Desuden blev mRNA-ekspressionen af LDL-receptor, SREBP-2 og CYP7A1 opreguleret, hvilket resulterede i lavere LDL-niveauer og \u00f8get kolesteroludstr\u00f8mning.<\/p>\n<p>Rashid et al. gav tocotrienoler (TRF), opn\u00e5et ved berigelse fra palmeolie, som kosttilskud til rotter p\u00e5 en fedtfattig kost, hvilket reducerede TC-, TG- og LDL-C-niveauerne betydeligt og s\u00e6nkede niveauet af oxideret LDL sammenlignet med kontrolgruppen og derved h\u00e6mmede udviklingen af aterosklerose.<\/p>\n<p>Perillaolie er rig p\u00e5 \u03b1-linolensyre, ZhangTao et al. fandt, at rotter fodret med perillaolie signifikant reducerede niveauerne af TC og TG, \u00f8gede mRNA-ekspressionen af PPAR-\u03b1 og CPT1A i leveren og fremmede oxidationen af leverfedtsyrer sammenlignet med kontrolgruppen; de opregulerede ogs\u00e5 mRNA-ekspressionen af SREBP-1, FAS og ACC i blodserummet, hvilket signifikant s\u00e6nkede serumlipiderne og h\u00e6mmede leverfedtsyresyntesen.
