For yderligere at demonstrere effekten af autofagi p\u00e5 inflammation blev autofagi-inhibitoren 3-MA, som ogs\u00e5 er en specifik inhibitor af PI3K-signalvejen, brugt til at kontrollere makrofag-autofagi, blokere autofagisk chelering og proteinnedbrydning.
