I dette eksperiment blev i alt 18 flavonoidforbindelser isoleret fra det ydre skind af sure b\u00f8nner, herunder 6 flavonoider (1-5, 9), 2 flavonoler (7, 8), 5 dihydroflavonoider (10-12, 14, 15), 2 dihydroflavonoler (13, 16), 2 flavanoler (17, 18) og et flavonoidglykosid (6). Blandt dem blev 10 forbindelser (2, 4-6, 9, 11, 13-16) isoleret fra denne plantesl\u00e6gt for f\u00f8rste gang, hvilket indikerer, at den ydre hud af sure b\u00f8nner indeholder en stor m\u00e6ngde flavonoider, hvilket er i overensstemmelse med den store m\u00e6ngde komponenter, der findes i sure b\u00f8nner. Resultaterne af ORAC-eksperimentet viste, at acetoneekstrakt, dichlormethanekstrakt, ethylacetatekstrakt, n-butanolekstrakt og 9 forbindelser (1, 2, 7-10, 12, 13, 17) fra de sure b\u00f8nners ydre hud alle havde god in vitro-antioxidantaktivitet.<br \/>\nFlavonoiders antioxidantaktivitet er t\u00e6t forbundet med deres struktur, og antallet og placeringen af hydroxylgrupper samt tilstedev\u00e6relsen af carbonylgrupper i C-ringen har alle en vis indvirkning p\u00e5 flavonoiders antioxidantaktivitet.
