Fors\u00f8gsresultaterne viste, at indholdet af gavnlige bakterier som Bacteroidetes, Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium og Clostridium i DKD og Mod faldt, mens indholdet af patogene bakterier som Clostridium, Molluscaceae, Escherichia coli og Enterococcus steg. Resultaterne var i overensstemmelse med tidligere unders\u00f8gelser. Samtidig viste det sig, at i mods\u00e6tning til DKD steg m\u00e6ngden af Firmicutes, Clostridium, Molluscum og Enterococcus betydeligt i Mod, mens m\u00e6ngden af Lactobacillus, Clostridium og Bifidobacterium faldt betydeligt, hvilket tyder p\u00e5, at disse bakteriesl\u00e6gter kan v\u00e6re t\u00e6t forbundet med Qi Yin-mangelsyndromet.<\/p>\n<p>Forstyrrelse af tarmens mikrobiota kan f\u00f8re til \u00f8get syntese af endotoksiner i tarmen, forv\u00e6rring af inflammatoriske reaktioner, forstyrrelse af tarmbarrieren og overf\u00f8rsel af skadelige stoffer, hvilket forv\u00e6rrer nyrebet\u00e6ndelse og fremskynder udviklingen af diabetisk nyresygdom (DKD).
