Den er hovedsageligt udbredt i Guizhou, Sichuan, Xizang, Yunnan, Guangxi og andre steder i Kina, og den er ogs\u00e5 meget udbredt i Myanmar, Thailand og Indien. Huangjianghua, ogs\u00e5 kendt som gr\u00e6sfrugt, er en lokal specialitet i Bijie, Guizhou. Det samlede indhold af fenolsyre og flavonoider i Huangjiang Flower Extract er dog relativt h\u00f8jt, hvilket kan bruges som en rig kilde til fenoler og flavonoider. I alt 58 forbindelser blev identificeret fra ekstraktet af Huangjiang-blomster, herunder 11 phenolforbindelser og 18 flavonoidforbindelser. Huangjiang Flower Extract har god antioxidantaktivitet mod DPPH- og ABTS-frie radikaler, is\u00e6r en st\u00e6rk rensende effekt p\u00e5 DPPH-frie radikaler. Tidligere unders\u00f8gelser har vist, at det samlede indhold af fenoler og flavonoider i planteekstrakter er positivt korreleret med deres evne til at fjerne DPPH og ABTS. Derfor er den st\u00e6rke antioxidantkapacitet i ingef\u00e6rblomstekstrakt t\u00e6t forbundet med dets h\u00f8je indhold af total fenolsyre og total flavonoid.<br \/>\nB\u00e5de ethanolekstraktet og vandekstraktet af Huangjianghua kan reducere den overdrevne udskillelse af pro-inflammatoriske mediatorer (NO og PGE2) og cytokiner (TNF - \u03b1, IL-6 og IL-1 \u03b2) i RAW264.7-celler, hvor ethanolekstraktet viser bedre anti-inflammatorisk aktivitet. If\u00f8lge forskningsrapporter har fyrrebarkaldehyd gode antiinflammatoriske virkninger og kan reducere inflammatoriske skader; Isoquercitrin kan h\u00e6mme den overdrevne produktion af TNF - \u03b1, NO, iNOS og COX-2; Quercetin kan reducere frigivelsen af inflammatoriske cytokiner TNF - \u03b1 og IL-1 \u03b2; Lignin fra duftende blade har antiinflammatoriske virkninger. Ovenst\u00e5ende forbindelser findes kun i alkoholekstraktet, hvilket kan v\u00e6re \u00e5rsagen til den bedre antiinflammatoriske aktivitet i alkoholekstraktet af Huangjianghua.
