Efter ethanoludf\u00e6ldning blev et polysaccharid RDRP med relativt lav polydispersitet opn\u00e5et ved 60%-alkoholudf\u00e6ldning med et sukkerindhold p\u00e5 94,1%. Strukturen af plantepolysaccharider p\u00e5virker direkte deres biologiske aktivitet, og den grundl\u00e6ggende struktur af polysaccharider kan identificeres ved molekylv\u00e6gtfordeling, infrar\u00f8de karakteristiske absorptionstoppe, monosaccharidsammens\u00e6tning osv.
