Peng et al. isolerede tre anthocyaniner fra skallen af lilla passionsfrugt. Zhu et al. identificerede 5 anthocyaniner i skindet af lilla passionsfrugt. He et al. rapporterede 12 anthocyaniner i skr\u00e6llen p\u00e5 Fujians \"Purple Fragrant No.1\" lilla passionsfrugt. Under produktionen af frugtsaft bliver over 75% affald fra passionsfrugt ikke udnyttet fuldt ud. Hvordan man genbruger bioaktive forbindelser fra passionsfrugtskr\u00e6l til brug i medicinal-, kosmetik- og f\u00f8devareindustrien er et problem, der fortjener grundig forskning.<br \/>\nTre forbindelser blev opn\u00e5et ved at rense og isolere huden p\u00e5 passionsfrugt, herunder to simple phenylpropanoider, nemlig sophocarpin og syringin, og en ny forbindelse, inositollignan, som er en ny lignan. Fyrrebarkglykosid er en type glucosid af fyrrebarkalkohol, der kan h\u00e6mme svampev\u00e6kst og sortfarvningsreaktioner. Liu et al. fandt, at syringin har en st\u00e6rk antiosteoporoseeffekt p\u00e5 ovariektomerede mus, og dens molekyl\u00e6re mekanisme kan v\u00e6re relateret til NF - \u03ba B og PI3K\/Akt-signalvejene. Li et al. fandt, at syringin lindrer angiotensin II-induceret hypertrofi af H9c2-kardiomyocytter ved at aktivere AMPK \u03b1 og autofagi-relaterede signalveje. Men efter screening af tre forbindelser for tyrosinaseh\u00e6mmende aktivitet blev det konstateret, at inositol lignan har tyrosinaseh\u00e6mmende aktivitet. Samtidig har molekyl\u00e6re dockingunders\u00f8gelser af tyrosinaseproteiner vist, at inositollignin har den laveste bindingsenergi med tyrosinase, hvilket indikerer en st\u00e6rk bindingseffekt mellem de to. Molekyl\u00e6rdynamiske simuleringer har yderligere verificeret graden og stabiliteten af deres binding.
