Under opbevaring, for at forhindre dannelse af siruppigment, skal det f\u00e6rdige produkt normalt holdes under 28 \u2103, og under denne betingelse vil F42-sirupen have glukosekrystaller udf\u00e6ldet, fordi den optimale krystalliseringstemperatur for F42-typen er 5-10 \u2103, og omr\u00e5det for krystalliseringstemperatur er under 20 \u2103. b.
