Chlorhexidine Usage

It is used for gingivitis (acute necrotic ulcerative gingivitis), oral infection after dental surgery, prevention and treatment of oral infection in patients with cancer and leukemia, and oral inflammation, follicular stomatitis, and reduction of dental plaque caused by bacteria or fungi caused by dental abrasion. Also used as a disinfectant for equipment and skin, and as a preservative for eye drops.
